Buy our local & fresh quality Fresh Produce
Vegetable Transplants & Fresh Produce
Every year we grow a lot of vegetable and herb transplants, ready for you to put in your veggie garden. Different varieties tomatoes, onions, bell and hot peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, leek, strawberries etc. And you know, the growing is half the fun (eating is the other part).
We depend a little bit on the weather, but most of our customers wait till the last frost is gone and start gardening around May 24th. With some frost protection (i.e. plastic cover) you can start earlier.
Well, at that time we should have it ready for you.
Depending on season availability we can provide you with fresh potatoes, carrots, yellow beans, grean beans, peas, broccoli, lettuce, sweet corn, onions, strawberries, raspberries, leeks, pumpkins, squashes and more.
You can get your fresh produce from our farm and greenhouses in Arthur.
You also can get our fresh produce at several Farmers Markets.

Environment
Reuse, reduce and recycle
We try to keep our 'green industry' as green as possible. We use special irrigation equipment, supply water by hand (to the requirements of every plant)and water saving drip irrigation. We also use collected rain water, which is then collected for reuse.
Another measure we take -amongst other ones- is the collecting of used pots at the Farmers Markets and at our greenhouse location.
On our yard we have a special bin and a barrel on the Farmers Markets where you can drop off your old pots. If possible we reuse them. We bring the ones that are not reusable (brittle, broken) to a collecting point. Once picked up there, the plasic will be used to make 'new' plastic products.
Before you drop off the pots, please remove all content (like dirt, tags, plastic bags) from of the pots, to make sure the pots can be reused or recycled!
